As for the other components of Thunderbird line the power amplifier is focused on building sound systems around the convenience of the living space. The Thunderbird amplifiers can easily be integrated into the home interior without having to build it around oneself.

With a power output of 60 watts per channel (6 ohms), the Thunderbird Stereo has truly unlimited dynamic power. After activating the bridged mode, the component functions as a 100-watt monoblock.

The amplifier's power supply is true dual mono design.

The output stage of the push-pull class A circuit is implemented on four powerful and uncommonly musical 6550 tubes, the driver features four 12AY7s. All the tubes are cryogenically treated.

S.A. Lab can confidently say that it designs and manufactures some of the world's best and most musical output transformers and never uses third-party universal output transformers in its amplifiers.

The transformer of Thunderbird Stereo is designed and optimized for a specific amplifier, for specific output tubes and operating modes.

To minimize distortion, the overall output transformer power form-factor is set with a 10-fold margin.

Balanced Direct input is solved using two balanced transformers with silver windings and composite cores optimized for audio applications. The transformers are developed and manufactured by Sound Analysis Laboratory. Thick 8mm chrome-doped steel shields minimize distortions and balanced signal noise enabling it to maintain absolutely accurate audio reproduction.

The S.A.Lab Thunderbird range allows a choice of body colors from a range of high quality Ferrari car finishes.
