Black Knight is the result of longstanding in-depth investigations S.A.Lab carried out in various solid state schematics and sound.

In the Black Knight project, we strove to reconcile solid-state aficionados with the tube ones.

S.A.Lab company created the Black Knight amplifier with single-end Class A input driver and push-pull output stage on MOSFETs. Black Knight's sound blends exquisite spectrum of single-end tube amplifiers as well as superb dynamics and high power of solid-state units.

Due to high quiescent current (2,5 A) Black Knight operates in pure Class A till 70/35 W on 8/4 Ohm.

Black Knight's regulated dual mono power supply includes two huge power transformers (2 x 600 W) and capacitors of 200 000 mF in total.

There are 6 line inputs (3 RCA, 2 XLR, Direct), 2 outputs (2 RCA, XLR), 4 pairs of acoustic binding posts, 3 trigger inputs as well as operating time counter (in hours).
