State-of-the art phono preamplifier Hercules Phono embodies S.A.Lab's unique technologic achievements and longstanding engineering experience. Hercules Phono is designed for operating in ultra high-class analog audio systems. We created our corrector for the most sophisticated audiophiles to reveal magic of vinyl and live music!

Hercules Phono is passive RIAA-correction design with three cascode amplifying stages and transformer output based on powerful 6v6 tube (6п6). Transformer output provides low unit's low output impedance (12 Ohm).

Interstage direct coupling without capacitors and transformers required very complicated 24-part power supply on FETs. All Hercules Phono amplifying stages are regulated.

There are two power transformers in the Hercules Phono, main (450 W) and auxiliary (30 W), for servo and delay circuits.

Hercules Phono has two sets of SUTs for low (<0, 5 мV) and standard output cartridges as well as for MM ones. Transformers are made of high purity gold plated copper wire.
