Level Zero is the most affordable phono preamplifier in S.A.Lab product line. It was designed to operate with MM- and — being coupled with our superb SUTs — MC-cartridges as well. Some sophisticated engineering solutions were realized in this inexpensive Hi-Fi-product. We used high quality components and materials. Excellent sound and the most attractive value for money are among S.A.Lab Level Zero's advantages.

Two differential input stages on JFETs are matched with germanium output buffer. Transformers designed and produced by S.A.Lab are on channels outputs.
Level Zero's specific schematic design combines JFET and germanium preferences. JFET provided the unit with low noise level, low capacitance and therefore well cooperation of cartridges and Level Zero's output stage. As for germanium its high merits and remarkable musicality are well-known for audiophiles and S.A.Lab admirers.
Passive RIAA-correction is between input and output stage.
Output transformer made of high-quality transformer steel and permalloy sheets provides wide frequency band and perfect combination with the load.
